University of Wyoming cross-country ski team members Katie Turner of Chugiak, Mae Peterson of Pinedale, Wyo., and Turner's twin sister, Liz, train early this week before the start of collegiate ski nationals in Maine. The Cowgirls are defending champions, and the men are looking to recapture the title after taking home the runner-up trophy last year. Eight Cowboys and six Cowgirls qualified for nationals. The United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association Nationals started Tuesday and runs through Saturday.
