Eagle River VFW post celebrates golden anniversary

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9785 in Eagle River was awarded the Golden Anniversary Citation March 1 by George Lisicki, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States national commander.

According to a March 1 VFW press release, Lisicki issued the citation to post commander Burce Mosher and congratulated the post members for their outstanding community service record.

The post turned 50 March 7.
