Bear Paw motorcycle show and quilt winners announced

Dozens of polished motorcycles lined the road during the Bear Paw Festival Whole Hog Motorcycle Show July 13.

Prize winners in 15 different categories were announced for the annual Bear Paw Festival Whole Hog Motorcycle Show, held July 13. The annual event is sponsored by the Christian Motorcycle Alliance.
Among the winners was Chugiak's Ron Killian, who took home the Vintage Stock trophy for his 1955 Norton Model 19S.
Roxane Stoner stole the show at the Chugach Mountain Quilters Guild show and sale during the 23rd annual Bear Paw Festival. Her “Running away from the circus” quilt claimed top honors in the viewer's choice auction quilt category, was named the top quilt in the guild members choice division and had the honor of selling for the most during the auction.
Natalie Moten's Swirling Stars quilt took home the viewer's choice show quilt top honors. Moten also claimed third place in the auction quilt category for her Summer Fun creation.
