On Thursday, the company said it planned to fix the damage and reopen by the weekend.

“Nice view from the roof this morning!” the restaurant’s Facebook page posted at around 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. “We have a crew making repairs and we will reopen Friday morning at 9 a.m. for breakfast! Happy Thanksgiving Eagle River!”

The National Weather Service, wind gusts over 110 MPH were recorded Wednesday evening along the Anchorage Hillside.
